About Us

“Yoga is not a workout; it is a work-in.
And this is the point of spiritual practice; to make us teachable, to open up our hearts and focus our awareness, so that we can know what we already know and be who we already are.”

~Rolf Gates~

Opening a Yoga studio was not in the plans...

Until late 2025, we were quite content just being students in the beautiful space that is now known as Sol to Soul Yoga and Ayurveda, unaware that we were approaching a significant moment in our lives, practices, and relationship,

indeed a lift off into a next chapter.

And here we are!

Sol to Soul is a modern Yoga studio and Ayurvedic clinic devoted to the ancient teachings of the Vedic and Tantric texts.  We aim to follow a long line of local stewards who have held space for the practices of numerous students here,

over the years.

Really, we feel that we are just a couple of souls picking up the back of the line with an excitement to serve, host, and inspire

~and we welcome you to the studio!

erin chapelle

Studio Owner & Ayurvedic Health Counsellor

erin began a relationship with the ancient Vedic and Buddhist teachings in a Grade 12 World Religions course, way back when.  Since then, she has continued these studies with a focus on the anatomy of the spirit and the subtle body, completing two YTTs and numerous hours of self-directed learning.  After 20 years of working in the local food movement from gardens to kitchens, erin graduated as a 650-hour Ayurvedic Health Counsellor and is thrilled to share this 5000-year-old science and art form with the community.  erin believes that finding our own true flow is the very best medicine for tapping into our health and aims to support others in this game-changing awareness in her Yoga teaching and Ayurvedic practice.

Marco Hanson

Studio Owner & Yoga Teacher

Marco's lust for life and his questioning spirit led him to Yoga and Vedic pursuits. He took his YTT in Hatha Yoga from Lisa Haylock and Jennifer Columbus at the Sol to Soul studio, when it was still Eight Limbs Yoga, and has furthered his studies with certifications in mantra and pranayama. His current teacher and mentor, Lal Maharaj, follows in the wonderful tradition of Swami Sivananda, which has deeply influenced Marco's personal practice. Marco's love of the Vedic and Tantric texts are woven into his classes, and his teaching style is rooted in the breath and listening to the body: our real teacher.

Megan Fox

Yoga Teacher

Megan is a yoga teacher and educator who offers thoughtful, intentional classes rooted in presence and connection. She came to yoga during a time of turbulence, where the practice became a steady place to land—something that continues to shape how she shows up on the mat today.

With a focus on alignment and the relationship between movement and breath, Megan invites students to slow down, listen inward, and truly feel their way into each pose.

Drawing from her background in education and studies in anatomy and physiology, Megan creates a supportive, accessible space for exploration, curiosity, and growth—both on and off the mat
