Sadhana

1 hr

Friday and Saturday

It is said that after repeating something 40 times, we can break bad habits; after 90 days, new habits are established in the mind; and after 1000 repetitions, the new habit is mastered.  Sadhana at Sol to Soul consists of early morning practice sessions, where we will explore ourselves and the world around us via asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork), meditation, Ayurveda, and story-telling.  The class is accessible to all levels of yogis and is meant to inspire your own practice within and without the studio. Fridays focus on Ayurvedic teachings, while Saturdays pay special attention to Meditation and Pranayama.

No previous yoga experience is necessary—just come as you are. We supply the chairs--please bring your own mat!

Happy Hips

1 hr

Tuesday Evening

This classic studio staple focuses on strengthening hip mobility and stability through yoga asana (postures) that benefit overall physical, mental, and emotional wellness.  Because stress is commonly stored in the hips, this wholistic practice encourages the flow of prana (energy), which increases flexibility and improves the body’s symmetry.  Treat yourself to the magic of a hip-opening sequence and the many benefits that come with it!  This is an inclusive class for all levels.
